I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Casa Melissa. Mainly because I was concerned about it being so close to the main tourist street Quinta Avenida and the noise and partying. The hotel is practically on 5th Ave in Playa del Carmen. It’s walkable, there’s always food and something to do nearby. It’s not quiet but that’s expected! & we were totally fine with that. The rooms were very clean and it had AC although we didn’t really need it. Would def stay here again.
