This is a beautiful - large - apartment overlooking the Monument to the Revolution in the heart of Mexico City. The staff is very pleasant and tries to accommodate as best they can, but no one speaks English. We communicated via our cell phone translators. I tried to ask for some assistance via Hotels.com and a designated contact person, but once I got to the apartment, I did not receive responses. There is a clear distinction between guests and residents. Although the facility amenities looked great, I was not allowed access. To use the pool, you must have a swim cap - which I did not bring and could not find in Mexico City. If you want to swim - you best bring a cap from home. I ordered one from Amazon - but they turned the package away and said that they would not receive packages for Hotel.com people. There appears to be no bar or restaurant on site, although it is advertised to be there. I was not permitted access to the "garden" area. I requested two extra towels and an extra blanket - but they did not arrive. A week with two guests and two towels was a stretch. There was no French Press coffee maker, no regular coffee pot and one Nespresso machine with only one capsule. I requested more or a place to find more - but did not get a response. I walked one mile to a large Starbucks to buy a French Press - that was the closest location to find one. I left it for the next tenant. Overall I loved the apartment, but the lack of service and access was disappointing.
