We were prepared for some noise and construction based on prior reviews, but what we encountered was far from ideal. Upon check-in, we asked the front desk agent Efron about the ongoing construction and were told it was just "minor changes" the owner wanted to make. In reality, we quickly realized that the building’s only elevator, serving 8 floors, was incredibly slow, so we often opted for the stairs.
Once we reached our room on the second floor, it became clear that this floor wasn't fully completed. Had we been informed about the unfinished state of the floor beforehand, we could have decided whether to stay in a space prone to dust and noise.
The room itself was decent—simple, with an industrial feel—but lacked basic amenities like a closet, robes, and a full-length mirror. The bed was comfortable, but that’s where the positives ended. We experienced multiple issues with the water supply, which cut out twice. The first time was while I was brushing my teeth, and it came back on shortly after. Later that night, the water made loud, jackhammer-like noises. The next morning, while showering, the water cut off for a couple of minutes. When I informed the front desk, they responded with, “We’ll alert maintenance,” which was less than reassuring.
