    Bridge No. 1860, also known as the Samson Occom Bridge, is a stone-arch bridge dating back to 1936 that features impressive stonework. The bridge was built as a Works Progress Administration project and is still used today, carrying more than 1,100 vehicles across it each day.

    As an official listing on the National Register of Historic Places, this bridge is remarkably well preserved with particularly appealing viewpoints available looking at it from the banks of the Shantok Brook. You'll find it northwest of town marking the entrance to the Mohegan Reservation.
