Huge hotel, only ones staying there. Dark, no heat, had to bring in a small portable heater. Shabby and dated but somewhat clean. Would not recommend staying there.

Excelente opción para un fin de semana. El check in/out fue muy rápido y sin contratiempos. La ubicación es muy buena, cerca del centro histórico. El único pero fue que la música del bar estaba muy alta el viernes por la noche y si batallé para conciliar el sueño.

Amazing breakfast, location and value. Close to everything, great property. Only thing that could be improved is the mattresses. They are stiff not too cushy. Will be staying there again for sure!

comfortable enough for the price
A little beat noise, you can hear everything is happening in the hall like voices and knocking doors. However for the price is very good, clean and nice people. The construction is not new but very well conserved and painted. Carpet is kind of used but it doesnt smell bad. Shower room is small but good enough for the price paid. Breakfast buffet is good. Wi-Fi was really bad and slow

Zacatecas Hotel Parador
We visited this hotel and where 5 guests, this hotel is older with very few guest, breaksfast is expensive but decent there is no heat or air conditioning and as it was cold when we were there we had to wear our coats through out the evening. The staff was a tentative but again because we where are the only guest service was slow. The beds we're old & not comfortable however ..we were provided with blankets to be warm. Overall I have stayed in worse however I would not recommend this hotel for those that prefer more comfort in hotels

Well-located hotel although requires refurbishing
The hotel is on a good location 2km away from the city center in Zacatecas with an ample carpark and conveniently located close to the motorway for trips around Zacatecas. Rooms are comfy and ok with all the required amenities although the hotel shows signs of age and does require significant refurbishing (doors to the balcony don't close and rooms are not noise-proof). Considering that it's sold as a 4-star hotel I think it's worth spending on an overhaul to return it to its original charm 20 years ago.

Summer months sauna nights.
This hotel has seen its better days, but for the price it’s worth considering with the big caveat that the room does not have an AC or fan. So summertime is uncomfortable. Windows can be opened to cool the night but NO mosquito nets so makes for a sauna style night stay. In terms of the hotel I enjoyed the view, landscaping and the friendly staff.

2/10 Poor

Serious lacking any degree of professionalism.
The advertisement stated that Wi-Fi was available in the room and there was none. The room was very cold; there was a small electric radiator looking contraption that let out no heat at all. The cafeteria had three waiters and a main waiter who had no idea what was available in the kitchen. I asked for a Filet Mignon and had the waiter come back fifteen minutes later letting me know that there were no Filet's in the kitchen and would I like a skirt steak with beans and rice. On two separate occasions I had an employee knock on my door in the late afternoon to make sure that someone was actually occupied in my room. The manager does not seem to be worried that they are disturbing their tenants. From eight in the morning to six in the evening the cleaning lady's are laughing and talking very loudly with the men employees right next to my room. Their animated and colorful expressions of flirting were louder than the television in my room. I will not be returning to this hotel.
