    The Big Edge

    See boats like never before

    The Big Edge
    • Exótico

The Big Edge is an art installation that's made from more than 200 boats put together in a flowering cluster that makes it look like a massive metal bouquet. This work of art was created by Nancy Rubins, who is well known for crafting impressive works from spare parts of aeroplanes, HVAC systems, and other industrial scraps. One of the more unique aspects of this sculpture is that much of the support is hidden, making it appear as if the collective of boats is defying gravity. You can see it for yourself just off the Strip by heading right across the street from the ARIA.

    The Simpsons House

See a cartoon relic in real life

    • Exótico

The Simpsons House is a detailed recreation of the house that the cartoon Simpson family calls home and that actually functions as a private residence. The house was created as a reward in a 1997 promotional contest and has since been renovated to look far less cartoonish, though the general design is still clearly inspired by The Simpsons. It's important to note that this house is currently being used as a private residence, so you can't go inside to explore. Instead, you can admire its impressive architecture from the street. You'll find it right next to Rodeo Park south of the Sam Boyd Stadium.
