Best Rooftop Bars in Orlando

3 Best Rooftop Bars in Orlando

Enjoy Orlando Nightlife with a View

In our list of Orlando’s best rooftop bars, we shine a spotlight on the city’s often overlooked Downtown core which has a decent spread of venues to visit. Here, you can clink drinks, enjoy nibbles, and in some cases, dance the night away above street-level to the hottest DJ-spun tunes.

Orlando isn’t blessed with the most spectacular of skylines, which means that most of the rooftop bars on our list are only a few floors up—good news if you’re not great with heights. Still, the building lights glitter and the sunsets are fabulous. Plus, there are plenty of dreamy cocktails to try.

What are the best rooftop bars in Orlando?

1. Aero Rooftop Bar & Lounge

Swanky after-dark haunt with private cabanas and bottle service

Aero Rooftop Bar & Lounge

Good for: Luxury, Nightlife

Aero Rooftop Bar & Lounge boasts an effervescent party atmosphere that matches its neon lasers, signature cocktails, and stable of exciting DJs. Come here to raise a toast with friends and dance on the outdoor terrace to reggae, top 40, old-school hip-hop, and pulsing EDM (Electronic Dance Music).

Aero’s good-time atmosphere is helped in no small part by some rather enticing drinks promos (think 2-4-1 shots every hour), private cabanas for hire, and glamorous bottle service (a must if you’re with a large group). When you’re not letting your hair down, you can relax on the sofas and take in the glittery views of the Downtown skyline. Plus, there’s no cover charge.

2. Hanson’s Shoe Repair

One of Downtown’s hippest mingling spots

Hanson's Shoe Repair

Good for: Nightlife, Unusual

For the coolest craft cocktails in the city, head to Hanson’s Shoe Repair. This former cobbler’s shop-turned-speakeasy is reminiscent of the 1920’s Prohibition era with its hard-to-find entrance, secretive entry password (you can find it on social media), and vintage interior which features plenty of warm wood, ambient lighting, and gilt picture frames.

Intimate might be an understatement— there are only a dozen or so seats inside and standing space for around 20 folks. After chewing the fat with the bartender, head outside to the rooftop terrace to watch live music or catch a film. Must-try drinks include the Cat & Canary, the sweet and spicy Sierra Norte, and the fruity and floral Victory Rose. Read more
