Anyone that travels in Ireland knows booking hotels is a bit like playing roulette and sometimes you find an absolute gem, unfortunately this wasn’t one of them.
On the upside the staff are friendly and the food is fine, however....
Whilst there are signs saying the hotel is undergoing refurbishment it is about 10 years overdue.
The bedroom has had a fresh lick of paint, the bathroom however is beyond tired with mold in between the tiles and on the blind, plus the bath was water stained orange at one end.
Noise is also an issue with the walls shaking whenever someone closes a door.
The bed has obviously seen some action over the years as the springs continuously migrate you to the centre if the bed. The bedding is clean however the mattress protector was visibly stained which could be seen through the sheets.
Don’t get me wrong this isn’t an absolute dive, I would just expect a lot more for the price charged
