We booked the apartment for our trip (3-5 Sep 2017) in Jan 2017. It started out ok, a friendly staff sent me a whatsapp msg to confirm our arrival etc, a week before our arrival.
When we checked in to our apartment, not only the living room space was kinda small for 8 of us, we were surprised to see a baby roach on the toilet floor of 1 of the room. We thought nothing of it. We placed our things, cleaned up and left for our activities. When we came back, we saw baby roaches, not only in that particular bathroom (again), but also in the other connecting toilet and also the kitchen top. As it was late, I whatsapp the staff the next morning. He said, "they won't crawl on the bed, only on the floor." "it's just baby cockroaches." How convenient is that? Since we were only staying for 2 nights, we didn't bother to go through the hassle of exchanging apartments. On the 2nd night, while we were awake and chatting, a baby roach was crawling on the bed frame! I straightaway whatsapp the staff and sent him a photo of it and said, "You said they don't crawl on the bed? Well, you were wrong." He replied, "Noted, sorry for the inconvenience caused."
No compensation but he made an offer (sounds like a bribery), he said that he will not charge us fees for "keeping the luggages" while we wait for our transport to come at 4pm (flight is at 5.40pm), but "I will need a favour from you. Please give a 10 star review on Expedia". Sorry Kent, but we had a very bad & unhappy experience & service.
