They asked to let them know if a guest id going to come for checking in late. When I was booking this stay, I mentioned that we would come late and contacted the hotel and asked if a special arrangement was needed. There was no reply, so I thought they were informed. However, when we arrived, the hotel was closed and there seemed to be none at the site. We called the phone number given to us by Expedia and none answered. We contacted Expedia and they tried to call the stuff as well, but with the same result. We were already going to sleep in the car, but the nice guest guy came. He had the key from the hotel, but he was unable to decide to let us in. He messaged the special stuff's number he knew and they asked him to let us in and give us check-in forms to fill in as well as the keys. We filled in the forms and finally got into our rooms. in the morning, there was no stuff on site again, but at the reception we found the instruction to leave keys on the table and close the door.
The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, but it looked that the stuff did not care that people who had let them know in advance they would come late won't be able to get in at all.
