Great stay, friendly helpful check in . I was given a better room than booked as it was now with a view . When I booked and paid , I hadn’t noticed it was a shared bathroom and toilet which I’m glad didn’t put me off as the hotel itself is an historical experience with beautiful grounds and its own museum!
The aesthetic is Bauhaus which I found to be very atmospheric and evocative. The walk to the free bus service up and down the hill might not be for everyone, especially in the 33 degree heat i had. I saw a complaint on another review about the breakfast!? I found it memorable, tasty and wholesomely filling , eaten on a restaurant terrace with a beautiful view . The restaurant staff were also helpful and pleasant. I would stay again.
