Absolutely terrible experience. Customer service was incredibly disorganized and rude, and felt more like harassment than support. While the rooms look nice at first glance, many basic things do not work, and it felt like the hotel was constantly trying to extract additional money.
Be extremely careful providing your credit card. I was double charged over $2,500 USD, and one of my guests was also double charged. After a full day of calls and messages going nowhere, I had to file a credit card dispute and freeze my card out of fear of further charges.
I booked 21 rooms for a retreat. Staff initially confirmed in writing that we could use the gym and rooftop for meals and yoga. Months later, they tried to charge us, then backed down only after I showed written proof. Despite written confirmation twice, I received threatening messages minutes before a class demanding $1,500 USD to use the rooftop, forcing major last minute changes.
Concierge communication was passive aggressive and inconsistent, with random rule changes sent daily.
Other issues included extreme road noise, pipe squealing at night, no darkening curtains (its bright even at night), malfunctioning showers, unreliable internet (had to hot spot even just for emails), barely warm hot tubs, extra fees for housekeeping and early check in, and misleading beach access requiring crossing a major highway that is unsafe.
I strongly advise against staying here, especially for retreats or group bookings.
