My booking turned out to be quite complicated. I originally reserved four suites for 12 people, but upon arrival, none were available. I understand this was due to a booking error on their part, caused by a change in administration or booking platform. To resolve the situation, we were accommodated in six queen-sized rooms. While this was an acceptable solution given the circumstances, it was not what we had booked, and we lost access to the kitchens we had expected. As a result, we had to eat out multiple times due to the limited in-room amenities.
Additionally, on the same day as the agreed-upon charge for the four suites, I was unexpectedly billed for three additional rooms. Although this amount was later reimbursed, the currency conversion resulted in a shortfall of a few hundred dollars on my credit card. While I understand that exchange rates fluctuate, I did not believe my group should bear this loss especially given the additional expenses we incurred by having to dine out instead of cooking in our rooms. The hotel refused to cover the discrepancy.
The hotel responds well to the chat, however this whole situation has left us quite disappointed. We will not be booking again.
