The Sandy Shore Motel was old, but clean and maintained. We checked out, though, after three hours and went to a place up the beach because there is an outside bar at the motel and they were playing music loud enough that it muted the sound of the waves. We didn't want to hear Taylor Swift (no offense Tay Tay - we love you) we wanted to hear the ocean. And we couldn't have our window open without hearing the bar music - which - we were told - stayed open to 1 am. Also, the motel is horseshoe shaped and our room faced a bank of port-a-potties that were there for bar patrons. So, if you want to day drink and don't mind looking at port-a-potties - this place will suit you. If you want to hear the ocean and have kids who need to go to bed early, you may want to look elsewhere.
