Unable to stay in our room due to canceled flight, which I fully acknowledge that this is not the hotels problem. However, the hotel was unwilling to reimburse any portion of our fees with 15 hours notice that we'd be unable to make this reservation.
This is more of a awareness to those that book here, if plans are altered for whatever reason, the hotel will not offer any sort of refund.
I understand that it is Iceland, and these are usually smaller family run hotels, so this is why I still gave it a 3-Star review, even though I had to pay for a night here that I never got to enjoy. I'm sure the accommodations are as nice as other places that we stayed in Iceland, after missing our first day/night.
