I was really hyped to stay at the “Crowne Plaza” but the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The business center printer was out of ink and when I went up to front desk, the GSR made the worst face and huge shrug as if to say….okay so how is that my problem?” They never did get any ink or offer any alternative service. Nobody seemed to like their job there. The conference center bathrooms two of the sinks were out of soap, two days in a row, when I approached the front desk to ask my question, the person BEHIND THE DESK (because I wasn’t going back to the previous GSR) asked, “Did you tell the GSR? I looked at her puzzled and she said, “I’m not a GSR.” Maybe my 12 years in the industry made me jaded, but EVERYONE is a representative of the hotel. She was six feet from her desk mate all she had to do was say. Thank you, we will get that taken care of. I was hosting a business meeting and I felt like an inconvenience and I’ll stay elsewhere next time.
