I travel to Charlottesville each month for a meeting and typically stay at this hotel because it’s conveniently located, and the staff has always been welcoming.
Last week, my meeting was rescheduled to the following week due to weather, and unfortunately, the same issue happened again. I had to cover the cost of the first rescheduling and lost it again the second time. When I called to adjust my reservation, I discovered that as of 1/8/25, a new policy was implemented with a much stricter cancellation policy.
I want to make others aware of this change, as it may impact future bookings. It’s disappointing that they offer no flexibility for weather-related cancellations.
