It’s advertised as basic which it certainly is, good price for room in nice location, when you check in make sure you get Wi-Fi code and map, when we went out later the place was all shut up and locked. Reception is only 2-5 on days guests arrive, we returned early on second day as fridge not working but place in darkness. There is a microwave, kettle, cutlery and china on each landing, but if you want drinks you have to supply your own tea, coffee, milk etc, likewise same with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, as we had a fridge and saw the microwave we bought some microwavable meals but found fridge not working, it looked like fridge was in a boxed in unit, so had to bin all the stuff we had bought as we didn’t want to get food poisoning. We were woken each day by the creaking floorboards in the room above and could hear them in bed in the evenings. Room was fine and clean, it would have been a nice gesture to welcome you and give you the Wi-Fi code, mao and perhaps some useful information instead of the note telling you that you had to vacate the room at 10am. There is no service at this, you are just renting a room, you need to make your beds, clean the loo etc. if you don’t mind being left on your own it’s fine, if you want to know someone is there to help if you need it book somewhere else.
