We booked this hotel on the basis that it was a 'Ski-In/Ski-Out' property, as claimed by the listing on Hotels.com, however upon arrival it became clear that this is not the case and we had to take a taxi every day to get to and from the slopes, a great inconvenience. In addition, the hotel owner is very unfriendly and anti-social, he barely acknowledges our presence here and is simply rude, generally grunting instead of responding professionally. The cleaning lady and female chef are very friendly and fun, full of smiles.
The rooms are a decent size, the beds are very hard but fairly comfortable and the facilities are basic but usable. The included breakfast offers a decent selection but the coffee is terrible, bring your own instant-coffee.
The location of the hotel does require a taxi to get to the main ski-lifts, this does spoil the ski-atmosphere as it requires time and loading twice a day, a great inconvenience. I have asked Hotels.com to remove this incorrect attribute from the hotel listing.
