I would say the size of the room is very spacious. I like the added kitchenette feature, and the shower was lovely and big as well. The bed was also spacious and comfortable.the reception and check in wasnt welcoming whatsoever. The stairwell up to my room was dilapidated and dirty. The shower was broken in my room, with the second shower head attachment being missing altogether. The tap on the kitchen sink was loose, so was the toilet seat. The curtains were not blackout- meaning they didnt do anything to block out the sun when it came up. The temperature control panel by the door was broken, and the bedside reading lights didn't work. This cost me a total of £176, which is a ridiculous amount of money fot the quality of room and location. Admittedly, hotels were booked up due to it being moving in weekend for students, and I booked through a third party website. However, the point still stands that this was at most worth £50. These are easy fixes as well. By far my biggest complaint- was the elevator noise. My room was next to the elevator, so i expected some noise, however the elevator made a loud "ding dong" noise every time someone pressed the button on any floor. It sounded the same volume as a doorbell! Needless to say I did not have a good night sleep either night, being woken up by a doorbell noise almost every 5 minutes. Im almost certain you can get the noise turned off by an elevator technician
