The good part: staff was very friendly and helpful. They were smiling, respectful, and responsive at all times (all of them, except for one girl overseeing the breakfast session on my first day) Bathroom was very clean. I like the breakfast buffet a lot: they have a wide variety of choices, some I believe are more like lunch (who has calamari with mixed veggies for breakfast?) but you can always opt out of the options not suitable for you. Great noodle soups, sticky rice, bread, fruit juice (watermelon juice in addition to the regular orange juice).
The not so good part: My room is the standard room, which means they are cheap (40% discount). I feel like the discount price is a reflection of the real value of the room because (a) it doesn't have any window or natural light source. This really frustrates me because natural sunlight is super important in my opinion to sanitation (it sterilizes!), ventilation, how you feel and helps you get a sense of day and night. When I stayed in the room I have absolutely idea what is going on outside and felt like I was locked up in a confined space. Not the best feeling, especially since I had just flown back from the East Coast (US). (b) there is an ashtray in the room that was clean but still smelled like cigarettes, and the whole room has a light, but quite distinct smell of cigarette smoke, which to a non-smoker and health nut like me, is unacceptable. (c) wifi on cellphones were decent, but on my laptop it just didn't work
