I've stayed here several times, and it is a gorgeous hotel and, beautifully designed but, the service and attention to detail is seriously lacking. The first room I was given - the heating/air con and the USB sockets by the bed didn't work, The second room - the heating/air con worked, but the USB sockets didn't - I checked in the car and with my portable charger that it wasn't my cables.
My room was partially serviced the 1st day, and not serviced at all the 2nd day. I had to phone to ask for it to be done - which the Housekeeping Manager rectified and handled brilliantly.
The food is good, but the soup was the same flavour reheated soup for the 3 nights in a row that I was there, which given the price of it, was disappointing.
Every time I have stayed here, the staff have been nice, but their attention to detail is missing. They don't have a personal touch at all. It's little things, but it all makes a difference.
