Overall we had a good experience. We loved all the quirky artwork everywhere. :) The beds were comfy, we liked the ease of having door codes and no keys to keep track of, and the shared sitting room (once someone pointed it out to us) was super cute and a nice place to write and eat meals in.
It was weird, though, not having someone to check in/out with or ask questions face to face with. For example, we didn’t know there were two more bathrooms down the hall that were better furnished until one of our fellow visitors pointed it them out, we never did figure out where the courtyard or patio were, so we couldn’t use them, and we didn’t know that some people just left their food out in the shared tea area until we almost ate someone else’s breakfast rolls (thinking they were part of the hotel treats along with the tea service). Those are the kinds of things I’d ask a person at the desk about without a thought, but wouldn’t ask an email correspondent who isn’t likely to get back to me right away. It would be helpful if there were a little map or guide to the tiny hotel with that info in it in the room when you come in.
