My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights while exploring the Puerto Madryn area. The hotel is across the road from the water, close to a supermarket and about 10 ATMs (which is very handy given how often one won't have any cash left). We found any places we wanted to eat were all within walking distance which was great.
Their buffet breakfast was quite good with a pretty good variety of options. It is packed though between 6 and 7:30am due to everyone getting breakfast before their tours, so on days you don't have to be ready by 7:30 I'd suggest going after 7:30am.
The staff were ok, not super friendly but also not rude. Our room was quite spacious, as was the bathroom and very clean. The two main issues were: the heat and the shower. Our room was quite warm, when I tried to turn the AC on, it actually just blew even hotter air into the room, so that got switched off. In the end we had the window open on a permanent basis, which meant the room was a little noisy at times. The shower was fine space wise, but the nozzle was ridiculous, definitely the worst we came across on this trip, a handful of holes that just went everywhere.
Overall it was good (mainly due to location and cleanliness), and its hard to know if the other issues are tied to the Argentine economy issues so I would consider staying here again.
