Amazing room – fantastic view, and only the waves hitting the beach to listen to.
If you want somewhere to de-stress, this is the place - nothing to do but chill out (no phones, no tv, no wifi). Lovely white(ish) sand beach, fantastic food, great staff.
Wouldn’t recommend swimming for kids/weaker swimmers but the staff were always careful to keep a look out. Snorkelling within the bay is fantastic, so long as you are a decent swimmer. We went rainy season, when the weather is a bit patchy but the waves are I am told a bit smaller – they must be quite big in the dry season!
When the resort (loose term) only 11 lovely detached bungalows was empty, the service was world class. When it got busy, portion sizes and service became a little less good. In general, the staff are really friendly and helpful. Its pricey but we’d love to go back again.
The road to the resort is fine and was being improved whilst we were there, what I would say is that all our flights were delayed – I wouldn’t recommend having tight connections in the rainy season (like we did and ended up missing our first night at Jeeva).
