Convenient to Ginza/Airport
This is conveniently located in Ginza area close to the train to the airport. It works perfectly as a "crash" spot for your visit.

Small room
APA Hotel is notoriously small room, and I knew that. But small to the point that the bed is the room, virtually no clearance around the bed, wow that's tiny. Other than that, clean hotel, good service, very good location.

Horrible stay
we were only one night in this property, because was near to Tokyo station, on our way to Kyoto, anda we think it was going to be like the other APA hotel we were before, but we found a dirty room, with bugs in it. we kill them with the sleepers they provide, and we could not sleep very good, wondering if there were more bugs around. the next morning at breakfast, this hotel had only a small place to eat, no selection of food and only one person nor too friendly who attend the place. we were very disappointed!

Good location
It was ok. I suppose you get what you pay for but with no frills. The room was extremely small, I could hardly open my suitcases. On the other hand it’s well located and close to the underground station.

Amazing location. So easy to get everywhere. Lots of train stations within 3 blocks. One goes straight to both airports for a very economical way to get to/from the airport. One station goes straight to Disney. We were easily able to get anywhere else in the city too. Small rooms, but that is to be expected. Great shower pressure. Room smelled slightly of cigarette smoke, which is the only reason for not having 5 stars for cleanliness. A/C turns off when removing room key but is quick to recover. Very happy, would stay again.

Staffs did not help us to call taxi. He said if he call taxi for us he will charge us 500 yen. Ice machine out of order in the very hot weather in Japan & they don’t fix it.

2/10 Poor

You would expect a cleaner hotel. Lots of dust in the AC and throughout the room. Lots of stains on the walls and carpet. The interior of the building was extremely hot. Not the best place in Tokyo especially by the train station.

Nice, clean and affordable. Small rooms but great for one person. I booked breakfast and found out when I arrived it was only Japanese food. Didn’t use breakfast, so wasted money as it was not refundable.

6/10 Good

Overall condition was good however the room/s were extremely humid and smelly to the point where my phone had a layer of humidity/condensation on my phone. Smelled really bad and at points even smelt sewage. When the service desk was contacted they said there was no other rooms available and to use the deodorizer on the desk which did not help. Next day they said to go talk to them so we can get switched rooms but as we were already out for the day and didnt get back till the afternoon nothing happened. Bathroom shower was also bad as the eayer judt runs off the edge onto the floor outside the tub.

Very descent looking hotel. Near to train, subway lines, walking distance to Tokyo station, a 5 min walk to Ginza main shopping street, Kyobashi station Ginza line connects to most tourist destinations. Safe to walk at night. Rooms are small but is standard for Japan. If you are not happy with your room ask front desk and they will give you the best match to your needs.
