Highly recommended!!
Built in 1905 by Samuel Fordyce, founder of Mountain Valley Spring Water, the original manor house is still part of the property. It was my pleasure to stay in the manor itself, and it was a lovely experience!
The rooms are all apparently newly refreshed, with soothing blue-gray walls and bright white trim. Beds are firm memory foam, which my back adored. The baths have a very historic feel in the tile work, offset by a modern glass shower in my room with all new fixtures.
One of the rooms I checked out in the motorcourt section was smaller but no less elegant, with a tub with a tile surround.
If you travel to Hot Springs, stay here! Close to everything, it is in a quiet location even though it is on a main road. I slept very well. I didn't want to leave and come back home, it was that calming and relaxing with a historic feel and modern amenities.
