Isa was too kind. He recieved me at 2 AM and even then he was nice enough to give me details of the city, a map and lots of info. The cleaning ladies were extremely nice, we couldn't communicate much since they didnt speak English but they were so cheerful and happy the whole time. Breakfast was okay. Only thing that didn't make my stay here perfect, was a little of a bad attitude from the receptionist at night. My boyfriend came by surprise to Istanbul, and when we arrived at night we were told that we had to pay extra and switch rooms. When we checked the rates online, it was the the exact same rate for 1 or 2 people. However, I understad this,I work in a hotel myself. We accepted to pay. However, receptionist wanted us to move rooms, and pay not only for the extra person (my boyfriend) but also said we had to upgrade to a different type of room.We wanted to stay in the same room (it was 2 am, i didnt want to move all my belongings!) and he will still insist that we had to switch rooms. We had to be insisting and say that there was NO CHANCE we would move everything at 2 am, and in the end he just said "tomorrow you will speak with the manager". Next day, I spoke with the manager and all was good. No big deal. I don't see any point on his reaction. I had to include my boyfriend in hotels in Dubai, Amman and Moscow later, and no other hotel charged us for him, just this one. Payment was not the problem. Attitude was. Overall, good experience!
