When booking this accommodation (for 3 nights) I had not realised that this was not a hotel, but basically self-catering on a bed & breakfast basis. Therefore, there was no restaurant, but breakfast was provided in a bar area near reception, and the room was serviced each day. The accommodation units are located in beautifully landscaped gardens and we had our own parking spot (behind glass doors!) close to the room, at additional cost. The accommodation comprised a kitchen/lounge area, and a separate bedroom, and separate bathroom. The unit's refrigerator was not working, the lighting in the lounge area was poor, and the shower had no soap dish. The only TV was in the bedroom. Breakfast was adequate but not special, although the location for it was very pleasant. There was a supermarket nearby, so it was possible to buy food there for consumption in the unit, but there was no crockery or cutlery, however it was possible to borrow some. There was a hob to cook on, but no microwave. So, not a hotel, but not self-catering as Brits would recognise it. We found the change from the normal hotel type of accommodation on our exploration of this part of Italy made for a pleasant interlude. And, the refrigerator was fixed (but the bulb did not survive long) and a standard lamp was provided by one of the three very helpful girls we encountered in reception/breakfast.
