Bisbee is great. Copper Queen hotel, not so much. I understand they’re going for the whole era-specific Victorian kinda vibe, but it just comes off as antiquated and lazy. Looks like someone went to the thrift store and just picked out random stuff that looked like it was 100 years old. The wi-fi was in and out throughout our stay.
Upon check out, we opted for breakfast at the restaurant, and I’m not sure why they even bother to open. Took forever to get our food and it was quite obvious they were severely understaffed. With a mere four tables sat, I watched the server turn a fifth couple away because they were backed up. The first two syrup dispensers I was given for my pancakes were stuck closed, indicating that they hadn’t been cleaned since who knows when. The food itself was fine though, no complaints there I guess.
At $200 a night, not worth it in the slightest. I feel cheated.
