The hotel itself is adequate, the room is clean and provided the basic standards of what you need.
However, this hotel is located in the residential area, so it's away from everything. It's 8 min walk from the nearest subway station and there aren't many restaurants around, no bars and no late night eateries.
I would rather stay at elsewhere that has more late night restaurants and bars options.
However, they did included free breakfast for every night that I stayed and the breakfast buffet was pretty good and have lots of options. The public bath has men and women section, although it's small, it does its job and many of my visits, there hardly anyone there. The public bath could fit about 8 people max for the men's side so it was adquate but much appreciated.
One drawback though, it's early April so Nagoya starts to warm up, to inform the guests that the ventilation is central which means they are still pumping central heating is a bit of a joke. You need individual ventilation system, many nights, I will open the window to let fresh air in but also means bugs or mosquitos can fly in and if it rains, you may potentially let water in and the noise to the road could be an issue.
Other than that, for the price of the hotel, it was good value and it's safe, clean and does provide the basic standards and needs.
