Overall it was a lovely place, the reason I gave 4* was the full ash tray outside my room and the massive gap under the room door you could limbo that let all the hallway bright light in all night (eventually I used towels to block the gap).
It was very hot and there was no fan or air con (granted it was unusually hot), the worst bit though was we had to have the veranda door open to manage the temperature and there was a campsite a few doors down having a live gig that didn’t finish till gone 1am.
While the noise and heat weren’t necessary the hotels fault some temperature control in the room would have been really appreciated.
Would I stay again, probably not, we are early risers and the noise from the nearby campsite was just too much with the windows open and no air con.
Overall though it was a nice hotel, continental breakfast was delightful, parking was great, staff were very friendly and helpful (uk plug adapter box behind reception = lifesaver). Plus the local food places were AMAZING. The area and local people were also brilliant, I would definitely return to the area.
