The staff here are great and we booked it so that we had access to a kitchen, which was great (bbqs are also a plus). We knew that we would be sharing a bathroom, however, the building we were in had 1 toilet DOWNSTAIRS for 8 people. We have learned our lesson and won’t be booking a shared bathroom accommodation in the future. Even if it had been on the same floor as our room that would have been better, but we are older and walking downstairs at our age isn’t the best. There were also other guests who got up at 4am on our last morning and made a lot of noise, obviously not the hostel’s fault, but the walls are thin and the stairs are old and noisy.

Great option for staying in Queenstown. Location is great as it’s close to the city core but very quiet. We stayed in a cabin unit and had everything we needed for the stay in the unit. The only 2 things we disliked was how small the bathroom sink was, and how tight the parking area was. Other than that, we had a nice stay at Pinewood.

I had an excellent stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. They even upgraded me to a cabin for free, which made the experience even better. The views from the property were beautiful, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the town center but still quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend this place, especially staying in one of the cabins. I would absolutely stay here again.

We requested to do make up room on the second day stayed but when we came back none being done, as we aware of your program but we opened the window on the shower on the first night so a lot of insect or debris on the towels, but the receptionist was helpful and borrowed us okay fan just surviving second night, so the housekeeping was let down otherwise we will give 5 star
