I specifically booked this hotel through Expedia, because there was the option of a room with a kitchenette. We wanted a place with a full sized refrigerator as we were going to be there for 4 nights and we expected to have leftovers to keep refrigerated and possibly eat. Upon arriving to check in, I was told that the room with a kitchenette wasn't available for some reason that the evening clerk couldn't explain. He attributed the problem to using a "3rd party" to book the room, saying that sometimes the listings by 3rd parties aren't accurate. He said the room wasn't occupied, but it was "blocked".
He told me that we could speak with the manager the next day & possibly be able to move to a room with a kitchen. Unfortunately, our plans meant that we would be gone most of the next day. Ultimately, we stayed in the room we were given as we'd already be settled in. The rest of the experience was good other than noise in the hallway which isn't the hotel's fault.
There isn't much in the way of convenient food options. Also, this is an area where a lot of the restaurants are closed on Tuesdays, which is the day we arrived. Again, not a problem with the hotel, just the location.
