The staff of this hotel are very friendly and accommodating.
The general manager, not so much!
None of their washing machines are functioning properly. One is completely out of work the other and just doesn’t spin your clothes dry. On my first visit here three weeks ago, it wasn’t working either.
The washers ( when are working) functions with quarters and the dryers usie an app that you have to download. Unfortunately, for me and for them, the minimum deposit to use the app/machine is $25. No thanks.
Anyway, when I approached the manager about the situation,i t was clear to me that he couldn’t care less. It was so apparent, in fact that when I met him in the elevator and asked him why a big hotel like that would only have two washers and two dryers for 100 rooms? He’s literally turned his back on me in the elevator facing the corner like the spoiled patulous child that he apparently still is.
He put such a bitter taste in my mouth, that, unless in an emergency, I will no longer use
The Marriott brand again.
