I have travelled extensively never ever have l been told on day it was 34c the Air Conditioning was broken in our room that they had no other accommodation as hotel was booked. I explained l booked this hotel because of the air conditioning six months prior to coming due fact l have a lung disease. I was then told 15 minutes later that they did have another room two rooms down and we could move to this room reassured the A/C worked. The room was not clean the shower still had the shampoo from the prior guest. The shower, the sink, the floor with dirty, the toilet was dirty.. and the air conditioning never dropped below 23 Celsius in the room. When we reported these conditions to the front desk, they simply said they were full. And that they could give us bottle wine for the inconvenience. Clearly, they have not learned anything from Covid and clean conditions for people to stay in.
After I had spent over $350 for a room with no air conditioning, and was offered a bottle wine for the deficiencies. I don’t drink. So clearly l received no compensation.
Clearly the management had no interest in our health and safety.
