Property and apartment was in decent condition, although very dated. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, appliances, etc. although we would have liked to see a Keurig/one cup coffee maker. It was more than enough space for two of us, which makes sense as it’s designed for families/small groups.
Communication with Whiski Jack was done well, however, the pre-check-in form was a bit of a cumbersome step as we had to send them an email address and then fill out the form before we were able to get our check-in details. I think this could be made much simpler by sending the form to the email address the booking was made with, and then sending the check-in instructions to said email a day or two prior.
The area around the property was quiet and serene. We did stay during the off-season, so I don’t know how much of that can be attributed to the soundproofing or the lack of people (we never encountered anyone in the hallways). We didn’t spend much time in the immediate area outside, but it seemed pleasant. The hallways in the building smelled musty, however, which added to the dated feeling.
