Clearly, they are still working out some kinks, as it is a new hotel, but there were quite a few "misses" this trip. Hope they fix them.
1. THE ODOR. Lobby and elevator scented with obnoxious and noxious air freshener that is unnecessary and so strong your eyes water. WHY?
2. OY, THE NOISE. I'm all for lobby energy, but people have to raise their voices to counteract the very loud music and the tile floors (not carpeted). Maybe lower the music during the day.
3. WAIT STAFF MILDLY UNPLEASANT. The "t-shirt" vibe of the wait staff made for a sloppy looking team, but more to the point, surly and unforgiving. The pat answer was "no." Please train better. Front desk staff, however, was very accommodating!
4. DARKEST ROOMS EVER. Literally had to purchase a ring light to have a business Zoom meeting. My colleague across the hall, too. The lighting was beyond terrible outside the bathroom.
5. TOILETRY BOTTLES EMPTY. Yay for no sample bottles, but train staff to FILL the shower dispensers. It's too late once you're in the damned shower to request shampoo.
6. AUTO-ON LIGHT IN BATHROOM. What genius thought this was a good idea? Gee, let's wake everyone up at 3am! Most people don't need a light. Turn off this stupid feature and let us turn on lights if we need (and we can be considerate of others and close the door first instead of walking into Dodger Stadium).
7. LOBBY FULL. Seats taken up by students, so don't expect to chill w/o buying food.
