As there weren’t many reviews, I wasn’t completely sure what to expect. The hotel is brand new very lovely. The rooms were extremely clean.
POOL/BEACH: The pool is nice and heated, though on the smaller side. One odd thing is, there is only beanbag chairs, no loungers or umbrellas for shade by the pool. Though, we didn’t mind, because the beachfront is really exceptional. They have loungers and Adirondack chairs stacked up, so it’s a bit of a DIY set up at the beach, But it is absolutely stunning, one of the most beautiful beaches in Samana and far off the road so there is no traffic noise unlike Las Terrenas and Las Bellenas. There are not many people around aise from folks walking from the resort that’s about a quarter of a mile away. This is one of the best aspects of the hotel.
LOCATION: Location is about 10 to 15 minute drive from the center of town ~$10 taxi, 300 peso moto or 75 peso colectivo.
It is very convenient if you rent your own car or moto, but not convenient if you plan on walking.
Food: breakfast included eggs, toast, fruit, juice, and coffee with extras available. We tried the fish filet for lunch our first day and found it small and underwhelming so we ate lunches elsewhere.
