Good location - right on a main street very near a popular bus stop, plenty of places to eat, etc., nearby. The maid was really nice, though she didn't speak any English.
On the downside... here are some:
Water pressure in the shower was non-existent.
The friendliness of the clerk who checked me in was about zero.
When I found that the hot water pot (that I would use to heat water for coffee or tea) was filthy inside, I took the thing down to show him. He was smoking in the lobby rest area, and made me come into his smoky surroundings to discuss it. He insisted that "that's normal". He even said "It's healthy for you" and "it's that way everywhere in the world", which clearly isn't true, even of other places to stay in Israel. Truly disgusting.
SUMMARY: I would gladly pay more to stay elsewhere.
