The most awful experience in our life was in Motel | Studio 6 Galveston.
First problem at this hotel we got was when the lady at the front desk withdrew money from the card even though they have records that we prepaid room through hotels.com.
Second. The sink draw didn't work. When the next day the plumber came, he just closed the water and told us not to use this sink. That is all he made. No fixing or no try.
Third, there was an electric outage and no AC worked at the hotel. All other hotels had electricity - even at the same street, but not Hotel 6 Galveston. We asked several times, and the manager promised to fix everything, but without results. So after spending a night in the heat with the door open due the high temperature and without any light we decided to move to another hotel, Red Roof. It was a wonderful hotel compared to this awful Motel 6.
Fourth. We lived there almost a week - and no one even gave us clean towels or sheets.
Fifth. We spent 5 days receiving refunds of money from Hotels. com - because Motel \ Studio 6 got money twice, and we spent three days to get back money from Motel 6 after we left it because they didn't have electricity. Every day, sometimes twice a day we had to talk with the manager of this awful place before something happened.
Never, never stay there! Choose another motel even if it will be more expensive - in this one they will get your money twice and will never give you any service at all. Stay away from this place!
