To check in at this hotel, I was forced to download an app. I asked specifically if I can still check in without using the app and the hotel replied "you can use the app to check in". I am not even joking, this is their reply to my question. So unwillingly, I downloaded the app and registered, because it's not enough to make money from hotel business, they also have to have a cut on selling customer information to 3rd parties (yes Google Play Store literally says on this app's page). And on the date of arrival this joke of an app didn't even work. The booking and check-in was successful, but no key card could be generated, which means I couldn't get into the room. Eventually we had to call the helpline, and after a long time waiting, some security guard showed and let us into the room with a key fob. Even at this point we still couldn't get a key card. I am sorry but you don't deserve to receive anything more than 1 star (because there's no option to give 0 star).
