I wasn’t able to use the first night of my stay because the airline canceled my flight, I messaged the hotel about this situation to see if they could change the reservation as it was to pay at destination but the hotel wouldn’t help with this, just straight said was not possible and to go with my airline to ask a refund.
As a person that works at a hotel and have worked in revenue I know if the hotel wants to help, can change that, but they straight cut me off and wouldn’t offer any solution.
Then at the check out time, I know that they already made a verification on my credit card, and I asked to use that amount that was already blocked, the person at the desk wouldn’t understand this requirement and said I had to do the payment all over again and when asked for a copy of the authorization voucher for me to ask my back for this retention he got upset, the lack of service is remarkable, and sure to say that what I paid for this “hotel” more like a hostal because the room was not pretty at all, was very overpriced.
