Your location is great! The staff is very friendly and willing to assist. Unfortunately our experience in the room was less than what we expected.
There are several signs that the wall switch controls the blinds. But one of the two blinds did not work. It was impossible to sleep with all the city lights so we reluctantly manually pulled the shade down.
The next morning I reported the non working shade, the very slow draining bathroom sink, and the refrigerator was freezing my fresh food. (Yes, I looked for an adjustment but there was none inside the refrigerator or where I could access on the outside). The reception staff said maintenance was due to work any minute and would come up to our room first.
After an hour, they had not showed and we had an appointment. I stopped by the desk to let them know we would be out but they were welcome to come inside to fix it. When we returned several hours later, nothing had been done. When I inquired again, the maintenance men finally came.
They said they fixed everything. Well, it was fixed for a few minutes. That evening. The water backed up and the shade would not come down. I pulled my fresh food from the refrigerator figuring it wasn’t working right either.
My husband diligently kept trying to get the shade come down since we did not want to manually pulled it down again. He finally got it to inch down and close. It would not raise up in the morning.
