I booked the Andreas for a solo weekend stay in early May. I wanted to spot that was easily walkable to downtown, and a short drive from the architectural tour and tram (my main reason for my trip...along with enjoying some desert weather)
The hotel is in an absolutely perfect location for shopping, museums, tours, the visitors center & tram, and even the cutest little wine bar (just across the street by the museum)
The hotel is easy to find, has convenient parking, and a very welcoming and helpful front desk staff.
The room was so cute...really charming and they took time to make it feel super inviting (sound machine playing ocean waves, faux fireplace lit, cozy throw on the bed) and the queen bed was very comfortable.
The room itself was the perfect size for one, and the only less than 5 star feature would be that the bathroom was a bit dated...but totally fine for my needs.
The pool chairs are padded and comfy- like you would expect for a 5 star hotel. The weekend that I was there it was over 100* outside so I didnt spend a lot of time lounging in the sun but the pool temp was kept at a perfect comfortable (not too cold) temp to be refreshing.
One note-I bought a simple blow up floating chair with me, and they do not allow any floaties in the pool...so dont splurge on anything thinking that you will be able to use it...they are strict about that.
I loved the architectural tour and the tram, but be prepared to wait in line for the tram- it was about an hour wait
