I recently travelled to Lisbon with three friends. After a long night of travel, we arrived at the hotel before 8:00am. We were greeted by Filippe, who was absolutely delightful. Although the hotel was fully booked and our rooms were not ready yet, he helped us store our bags, and offered us a pastry while we freshened up before going out to do some sightseeing. He also offered us important information about the surrounding area, including restaurant recommendations. On the following day, we again saw Filippe in the reception area, and he went out of his way to greet us and to inquire if there was anything that he could do to improve our stay. All of the staff at the hotel displayed excellent customer service, but Filippe, in particular, was exceptional. He was our first real point of contact, arriving in Portugal for the first time, and his attentiveness and desire to help us made for an overall exceptional experience at the hotel.
