Sure you're paying for unusual over the top bad taste decor in the rooms and on the grounds, it's all kind of Disneyland-esque from shocking pink booths in the restaurant to faux boulders stacked everywhere. And it's hilarious and weird. But the on site restaurants are seriously overcrowded. Granted we went on Christmas - terrible idea. Go during the off season instead, or eat in town. It was really just dismally packed and noisy in the bar and Cafe. Waited an hour to be seated and that was WITH reservations. Service was excellent when it did arrive. Food was mediocre and generic. Room service food was worse, and expensive. Hard to find parking in front of the rooms. I like the hotel, but be aware of when it's crowded and that it is "family friendly" meaning, children. The restaurants feel like a real germ-sharing situation. I recommend the Madonna experience as a one off during non peak days for sure.
