We found out upon check-in that there was no valet parking “Yeah the site says valet, but it’s wrong” - you have to pay $40 to park a few blocks away in a gov lot. It was very difficult for us as first timers in Boston to navigate - GPS brought us to a closed entrance. It was dark, rush hour, construction - not fun. We finally had to ask someone standing outside where the entrance was. Then the following morning, my husband unfortunately neglected to bring the ticket to the front desk before getting the car. He was charged $80 by the garage and the front desk couldn’t do anything about it (we realize that was his mistake, as they did tell us when we checked in - please learn from our 12 hour $80 parking mistake!). Parking fiasco aside, the hotel was clean, the bed was decent - the location is alright. Certainly not worth paying roughly $700 for 12 hours on a random Weds though!
I actually was really looking forward to this stay too, because I loved the pics of the building and it seemed like a cool place. I would have never booked the room though, had I known there wasn’t actually valet or onsite parking.
