Fairly average stay. One problem I had was when checking in, I was told breakfast was INCLUDED in my stay from the receptionist on Monday June 24th around 3pm. The next morning, as I am plating food for myself (as there was no one at reception around 9am on June 25th) I was stopped by one of the meal workers who told me I had to pay 18 Euros for breakfast because it didn't show in their system. I understand English is a second language in Germany, but there is a huge difference between INCLUDED and PROVIDED for a reservation. I received verbal communication from the reception that it was INCLUDED, therefore, I was under the impression that my breakfast would be available to me for me each morning for my 2-night stay.
Oddly enough, when I was checked for my reservation details, there were plenty of other people who were freely enjoying breakfast without being checked in. As a person of colour, this reflects really badly on your part and this became a common issue I faced staying in Munich.
Very unprofessional and a great way to let your guests go hungry without having anyone in the front to communicate properly in the first place. I will never book with Ibis or this property ever again.
