I would never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone. We booked this hotel so we could have a choice of restaurants and would not need to leave the hotel. When we got there, only one restaurant was open, with an extremely limited menu. The next morning we went in search of the gift shop to get some snacks so we could at least hang out in the room, but the gift shop was closed. I then went hunting for a vending machine, but they didn't even have that. I called the front desk, and the person I spoke to suggested I walk to the gas station down the road - it's 4 miles from the hotel. I mentioned that I was under the impression there were 4 restaurants and 3 bars/lounges (from the hotels.com listing), and he responds by saying "I don't know where you got that idea." Later in the day, we called for room service. At first, the woman was very nice, so nice that I commented to my partner when I got off the phone that she was nicer than the guy I spoke to earlier. 20 minutes later, she called back and accused me of giving her the wrong room number, which I didn't. She claimed that I gave her a room number that didn't exist, and when I repeated my room number, she said, "whatever," and hung up. At this point, I was mad. We paid for a resort but barely got a motel. At least put a mini bar in the rooms (the Marriott Bonvoy app claims they exist, but like everything else they don't).
